Linda Fellner Lachman
Linda is a graduate of the University of Miami Herbert Business School, with a degree in marketing and finance. Linda is currently a concierge Real Estate Buyer’s Agent with BHHS/EWM Realty Miami Beach. She specializes in luxury real estate from South Beach to Palm Beach, having grown up in Miami. She prides herself on delivering steadfast dedication, exceptional service, and discretion. Previously, Linda had a 12-year career in wealth management, specializing in municipal bonds and other tax-advantaged investments for high-net-worth individuals at JB Hanauer and 1st Miami Securities. She retired to raise her three sons.
What brought Linda into the world of cancer care was the diagnosis of her mother’s best friend, Magda Reich. Magda was beautiful, childless, recently widowed, loved Linda as her daughter, and was lost. Magda appointed Linda as her medical surrogate, and Linda spent the next 10 years caring for Magda in every way possible until her death at 97. During that period, Linda saw so many patients who didn’t have that luxury or support system that is so necessary to the success of cancer treatment and survival. She vowed to pay it forward.
Now, years later, after moving to Palm Beach, Linda sought out Cancer Alliance. Her husband, Gary, is a stage 3 colon cancer survivor (25 years). Her stepdaughter, Julia, is a survivor of chondrosarcoma in the skull base. Linda has never forgotten how fortunate they were and became quietly and firmly involved with Cancer Alliance.
She is supportive of Johns Hopkins Neurosurgery, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and Magen David Adom. In addition, she and Gary co-chaired the 2018 Palm Beach Symphony Gala, surpassing all previous goals and raising $1 million. Linda is also a past member of the Palm Beach Symphony Development Committee and the PBS Ladies Guild.
